Welcome you to our website about the planned reconstruction of the church of Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren in Olomouc. It provides information regarding the implementation of the project and presents options how to support this undertaking.

The church was built in 1920 and was declared a national cultural monument in 2015. This history of the church lasting over a century is reflected in its current technical condition.

Therefore, we present you with a project of thorough reconstruction of the building, which will extend the lifespan of its physical structure by another 60-80 years and will give the church a more representative appearance. We will be grateful for your help – protestants in Olomouc are alive!

Replacement of roofing and reconstruction of roof trusses including the wooden turret on the church tower + lightning conductor on the tower and its complete grounding around the church according to relevant national technical standards and reconstruction of the exterior gallery on the tower.

Restoration of the first half of the roof truss of the church building and replacement of the roofing including the lightning conductor.

Restoration of the second half of the roof truss and replacement of the roofing over the remaining, older part of the church building, including the lightning conductor.

Reconstruction of the facade and plinth of the church tower and of roof of its apse, restoration of the church clock faces and expert restoration of the entrance portals.

Restoration of the facade and plinths of the western front of the church building.

Restoration of the facade and plinths of the south, east and end of the north fronts of the church building.
